PSY-1010 Introduction to Psychology

3 credits
This course is a survey of major concepts, issues, theories and research methods in psychology. In the process, it offers a sense of how psychological issues are involved in students’ personal lives. Course content includes such topics as states of consciousness, learning, memory, development, motivation, emotion, stress management, theories of personality, abnormal behavior, approaches to therapy, intelligence, social psychology, neurophysiology and sensation and perception.
